eBMU PMB 8753/2 is a bluetooth chip manufactured by Infineon, but now taken over by Intel. I had contacted online support forum of Infineon and they re-directed me to take help from Intel. On contacting Intel, they told me to contact Infineon as manufacturer is Infineon. Hence I am writing to this forum to get help.

We are using eBMU for Bluetooth connection. We are facing connection issues when the device is used for some time, say 1 or 2 days. If we get to know the RSSI value, then depending on it, we can decide if to proceed with connection or inform user in some way that since signal quality is not good, hence Bluetooth connection can not be established.
We know that we can set RSSI range (min and max value) during configuration by using AT+JCBD AT command. We have already done this and want to know how to read RSSI value. Is there any register which we can use to get RSSI?

Please help!

Infineon Wireless Division was carved out to Intel Mobile Communication.

If you need support for formerly Infineon Wireless Products, like for Bluemoon PMB 8753/2, please contact the new owner Intel Mobile Communication (IMC) at: http://www.intel.com/support/9089.htm.
