Hi
I am new at this field with micro-controllers...
usually I program stuff and I know how to write the code
but my lack of knowledge is in the controller itself
how do I find/know to address of the ports that I want to wrote to them?
for example if I want to generate PWM signal to the p2.1 pin of the controller
or just to give a logic 1/0 how to I know to witch port/address send it?
thanks a lot
Vladik

Hi vladikpri, Welcome to the forum.:D
to generate PWM for XMC4500, you can make use of the peripherial CCU. We have ready apps to support your PWM generation in DAVE3. To get yourself ready please download the necessary tool chain from...
http://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/promopages/aim-mc/DAVE_3_Support_Portal/DAVE_3_Support_Portal...
Lastly, maybe you can tell me your requirement and I see how I can guide you there.
Best Regards
Travis

Hi Vladik,
I would suggest you to read the Reference Manual to understand how these peripherals works.
You can download the Reference Manual at:
http://www.infineon.com/dgdl/xmc4500_rm_v1.3_2013_08.pdf?folderId=db3a30433580b3710135a47f3eb76c98&f...
Good luck and happy reading.. 😉
