Hi,
I would like to replace the crystal of the main processor on the RelaxKit with an 8MHz crystal because this is the external frequency we are going to use on the final system. Would the debugger still work in this case? Is there anything else I have to be aware of?
Thanks,
Malte

Hi Malte,
that should be possible to do. Table 11-6 of the manual shows the settings for the PLL. Or you use the DAVE assistant to calculate the settings automatically.
I removed the crystal completely and fed in an external clock (24MHz) and it works very well !
