In the past I have used Lantronix hardware modules on pcb's to convert data over Ethernet to UART data into 8051 micros. A PC transmits simple text commands to the pcb and the PCB replies.
I would like to make use of the XMC4500 Ethernet capabilities in a similar way.
I have virtually zero knowledge about Ethernet data transfer protocols but would like some advice on possible methods and Apps to use. Possibly ETH004 ?
Thank you in advance
Aaron
