hello, I'm a novice in tricore environment, I'm not sure what is the difference between swframework tool and bifaces, both use the same illd ... could someone explain what is the advantage of using one or the other?

Hi Juan,
BIFACES is the successor of IFXSWF. Its most notable change is that some of its configurations are now driven by XML configuration files. If you use Infineon's IDE you can easily change those through its integrated XML editor.
There are also small changes in the folder structure. But other than that it's pretty much the same. In all you should use BIFACES from now on. If you happen to build an IFXSWF example within the BIFACES framework it will issue a warning telling you that you are about to build an outdated example within the BIFACES framework. Generally though, it will build without error.
