Hello, What is the best way to disable (turn OFF) ICE5AR477AG ? Is it possible to short GATE pin for this purpose or to short (or reduce voltage) on pin Vcc? Thanks

Hi, The ICE5AR477AG is a CoolSET™ device with integrated high voltage MOSFETs.
You can look into the design guide for this device at https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-Design_guide_5th_generation_fixed-frequency_CoolSET_ICE5xxxxB...
Here it says, during operation, the VCC voltage is continuously monitored. If VCC is either below VVCC_OFF for 50 µs (tVCC_OFF_B) or above VVCC_OVP for 55 µs (tVCC_OVP_B), the power MOSFET is kept switched off. After the VCC voltage falls below the threshold VVCCoff,
the new start-up sequence is activated. The VCC capacitor is then charged up. Once the voltage exceeds the threshold VVCC_ON, the IC begins to operate with a new soft-start. This option should give a clean shutdown and start-up after every disable.
For further recommendations pls contact local Infineon sales or field application engineers.
