Can someone tell me the difference between these two gate driver chips:
6ED003L02-F2
6EDL04N02PR
The datasheets seem to be identical. Why does Infineon make 2 identical chips with different names?

Distributor restocking should begin by end of March or early April. Please contact local Infineon sales team for further information. Thanks.

The 6EDL04 family is the newer generation of 6ED003 family. 6EDL04 has bootstrap diode integrated, while 6ED003 does not have bootstrap diode integrated.

The differences between 6ED003L02-F2 and 6EDL04N02PR are:
1. The control logic of HIN and LIN inputs. 6ED003L02-F2 has negative logic and 6EDL04N02PR has positive logic.
2. The undervoltage lockout levels. 6ED003L02-F2 has 11.7V/9.8V and the 6EDL04N02PR have 9V / 8.1V.
3. The bootstrap diode is integrated with 6EDL04N02PR and 6ED003L02-F2 needs an external bootstrap diode.

Thank you for the information.
We are having great difficulty in obtaining the 6EDL04N02PR. All our suppliers have no stock and delivery times upto 12 months have been quoted. What is the problem? For a new design, should we use the old one which is available or the new one? How long will the old one be available for?
