I have downloaded the iLLD_1_0_1_8_0_TC2xx_Drivers_And_Demos_Release.
The filename indicates it should contain both drivers and demos.
I see the drivers in the subdirectories.
However, i don't see any demo subdirectories.
Can someone point me to the demos which should be contained in this file?

We have an application note that you can use for this purpose. It can be downloaded from our free entry toolchain registration page by following this URL. You'll find it listed at the bottom left corner of the page under the heading of "Migrating Infineon Software Framework Demo Projects."

Hello henk, I need one more help regarding this, where can I find "Ifx" folder.

I am copying one line from the PDF, "Return to the work folder root and drill down into the ifx folder" where can i find this ifx folder so that i can copy it to my work folder and hence proceed further.

Thanks

It seems that seems that since v1.0.0.11.0 - the iLLD version that was current when the application note was developed - the iLLD structure has undergone some changes. This is what you're experiencing I'm afraid; things are no longer in the place where they used to be. My quick impression is that the ifx folder has been both moved and renamed. It can now be found at External/BaseSw/iLLD//Tricore within the archive. However I can't predict if there have been other changes so you might run into more discrepancies that do not line up with the application note. Parts of it may still hold but other parts may no longer yield true. I think it's best that we make sure to update the application note but obviously I can't make a statement when that will be. This I will have to followup in an offline discussion with the people that do the decision making.

Thanks a lot Henk for making it clear, I knew the problem was with the version that i have been using (iLLD) , now somewhat my problem is solved, i tried some tricks and tweaks suitable for me. Till now its working.

But i would ask you to either upgrade the PDF document of "migrating ..." or either release the iLLD folder and demo folder of version v1.0.0.11.0 as soon as possible, because these initial steps has consumed my lots of time and effort.

Thank you

Good to read that meanwhile you've got things sorted. Regarding your closing statement, of the two options given I think updating the application note is the preferred solution. I'll follow this up in an offline discussion and see if we can allocate resources to make that happen.

please process it ASAP, I need it at urgent basis.

and the pin mapping in ethdemo.c of tc234 is wrongly done. I have done the required changes after reading the manuals and it started to work. But request you to update the demo code of ethernet too

I don't want to raise your hopes by saying that it will be (processed) any day soon. These things take time, because before someone can be allocated, there has to be some deliberation discussing its priority. If you have a business case that is effected, then you must discuss it with your HighTec support contact and negotiate raising its priority.

Concerning your statement about the ethernet demo, you may want to run that by your Infineon contact or make a separate posting on this forum outlining your findings. If these are confirmed, Infineon will be able to integrate it into the ethernet demo application.

Too late for you personally, but I still wanted to let you know it's there, just in case there is a need for it. If you navigate to our registration page there now is a renewed migration application note based on v1.0.1.10.0 of iLLD.

Hello TMorita,

You can also check a set of 35 code examples and tutorials providing a guide on how to use and configure the peripherals of AURIX™ TC2xx devices through the Infineon Low Level Drivers (iLLDs) that we just released: AURIX™ Trainings.
Together with them, we also have released a new Integrated Development Environment for programming AURIX™ devices, which you can get from here: AURIX™ Development Studio.

If you are not familiar with Eclipse based IDE’s checkout the Getting Started guide!

Hope it helps,
