Hi
We are unable to find informations about internal oscillator (RC or whatever) in SAL-TC222L-16F133N in datasheet, is there such thing implemented in that device? If it is, how oscillator source is choosen, I mean we have external crystal one, connected to XTAL1 and XTAL2, which one is default is such case? What should be the amplitude of our external crystal, currently we have like 0.6 Vp-p, is that fine?
Kind Regards,
Piotr

The device will always start from the Back-up Clock is 100MHz OSC and you can find this information in section 3.8 Back-up Clock of the datasheet.
A configuration of the oscillator is always required before an external crystal / ceramic resonator could be used as clock source. For this start-up configuration two options are supported:
• Configuration via the Startup Software (SSW)
• Configuration after the execution of the SSW
