Hello everyone,
I've been trying to upload a firmware (using a XMC Link) to custom PCB which contains a XMC4500-F100, but I'm having some difficulties.
I'm using the following connection scheme:
J-Link 8 Pin XMC MCU -> XMC4500 F100 Pins
1 - CLK -> TMS/SWDIO (Pin 66)
2 - DATA -> TCK/SWCLK (Pin 67)
3 - 3V3 -> 3V3
4 - GND -> GND
I got the following error:
Here are the parameters that I've been using:
I checked with a voltmeter and there is no 3.3V between pins 3 and 4 of the J-Link 8 Pin connector. Is it normal or maybe my XMC Link is not working properly?
Windows can recognize it when I plug the USB.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Leonardo.

Hi,
The XMC Link documentation states:

Jesus
The XMC Link documentation states:
2.3 Power supply
XMC™ Link is powered from the Micro USB plug and typically draws about 70mA. The on-board voltage
regulator IFX54441LDV33 generates the required 3.3 V for the XMC4200microcontroller out of the 5 V USB
voltage. The debug probe is not designed to provide power for the target device.
The target application must power the isolated part of the debugger. The isolated side the XMC™ Link draws a
few mA of current from the target application.

Jesus
