Hi, I have broken off the onboard Debugger of XMC 1200 Bootkit, provided with 8 pol Header and onboard ribbon cable.
Provided my target witha brandnew XMC1302 (€1,80 at RS-Components!) and 8 pol Header.
Program first time the new XMC1302 with Boot-Mode "USER MODE (DEBUG)" adjusted with DAVE-4.3.2 BMI the proper debug Option and then - voila- you could Flash and Debug and set brekpoint as usual.
I have bought an additional Debugger, the XMC Link - Isolated debug probe for €100.- if Communication Speed and Isolation barrier matters (Infineon-ProductBrief_XMC_Link_Isolated_Debug_Probe.pdf-PB-v01_00-EN.PDF).
