MCD for flashing

I am developing a debug tool for TC29x and using the MCD library: https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/promopages/das/?redirId=53841. I get the demo project up end running so I can read and write to RAM and only read the flash.
Is it possible to write to flash (program the device) using MCD? Can you provide some examples how to do this.
