Switching losses are influenced by Drain-to-Source voltage, Drain current, switching frequency, gate resistor and the intrinsic parameters of the MOSFET technology itself. When all application parameters and selection of the MOSFET are fixed, the easy and straight forward way to reduce switching losses is by changing the turn-on and turn off gate resistors.
