Hello Users,
I am tracing a code sequence on a TC297TA.
This with a Lauterbach Debugger.
When a
disable
is called, the enabled IE-bit doesn't change.
If i twiddle around in the debugger with the IE bit and the ICR-Register, everything is fine.
What do I miss here?
Regards
Burkhardt

This is a debuggers issue. If I set a breakpoint just behind the disable instruction and let the software run up this point, the IE bit is shown as cleared.
If I restart and step over each instruction, the IE bit is unchanged.
