I use Dave 4 to develop an application on XMC4500.
We plan to use a Tool from SCI Tools named "Understand" for static code analysis and MISRA C:2012 code checker
This tool has an eclipse plugin as described here :
https://scitools.com/eclipse/
But I cannot get it to work, I always have following error message :
Unable to read repository at http://eclipse.scitools.com/eclipse_plugin/site.xml.
Unable to read repository at http://eclipse.scitools.com/eclipse_plugin/site.xml.
Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://eclipse.scitools.com/eclipse_plugin/site.xml
It may be a problem on sci tools side.
Thanks for any clue

Hi Ipek,
The link provided by the user does not seem to be active now. When you are adding a plug-in on dave also check the archive list of the plug-ins which could be compatible with the eclipse version. Additionally if you are seeing the same error as the user has listed, it could be also due to proxy settings. If you are using your company network and the firewall prevents access to it, make sure that you go to Windows -Preferences -> General tab -> Network settings. Change the active provider from direct to manual and add the right proxy settings. This should solve your problem.
Best Regards,
Vasanth
