    FREERTOS and ETH_LWIP Dave Apps

    Hello,

I am trying to get a demo running on XMC4700 Relax kit showcasing FREERTOS and LWIP stack. I am using Dave v4.2.6.
I was hoping to create a Dave CE project with FREERTOS and ETH_LWIP Dave Apps but I always get a "DAVE is not able to grant your last hardware resources request" message when adding the second app.

Is there any way around that limitation using the App? Are there example apps already using both in Dave v4?

    Thanks and regards
    Loic

    Hi Loic,

In the ETH_LWIP APP, it is possible to enable the APP to use CMSIS-RTOS. As there could be special handling that is required to use LWIP with RTOS that is taken care by the APP. I guess this was the reason why the APP did not allow the Free-RTOS APP to be instantiated.
Could you use the RTOS option in the ETH_LWIP APP.

    Regards,
    Daryl
