Hello
In an encloded description I found that XMC 4700 has 6ch CAN FD (http://www.can-cia.org/can-knowledge/can/can-fd/)
in its MultiCAN+ unit. But I did not find this information elsewhere. Is it true?

Hi,
We prefer to call it the classic CAN even the implementation is base on the CAN FD ISO/CD 11898-1.

Only to be 100%. sure.
The answer is YES, XMC 4700 is capable to communicate with CAN FD protocol?
if yes, then the implementation is:
- classical CAN not transmitting FD frames but tolerating FD frames or
- full-fledged implementation of CAN FD?

As I can find only 8 databytes in the Data Register of the message object in the user manual, it's only classical CAN with tolerating CÁN FD frames without generating error codes.
