Hi everybody,

I'm a very beginner with Dave. I'm Using Dave 3.1.10 with an XMC 4500.
The problem is that I can't add new Apps into an existing project which already contains applications.
I checked path settings and if libraries are installed. Everything seems to be ok,but the App Selection View is empty.
Can anybody help me with this trouble?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Best regards,

Andrea.

HI Andrea,

Did you create a DAVE CE project or a Simple Main Project? You will need to create a DAVE CE project to install APPs to your project.

If you are just starting out using DAVE, I strongly recommend you to install DAVE v4.2.2. ( http://www.infineon.com/dave )

Thank you Daryl for your reply.

Yes, I created a CE Project.
The fact is that I need to use Dave 3.1 to develope my project.
How can I add apps on 3.1 version? Tobe sure I'm following the right procedure...

I followed your advice and I downloaded DAVE v4.2.2.
I was able to insert Apps and set pins.
But when I use Debug mode I get an error in which is reported the inability to launch "arm-none-eabi-gdb". May it be due to my J-Link?

HI Andrea,

Were you able to generate code and compile the project?

Can you check your debug configurations as in the attached pic.

Daryl
