Hi all,
I find the 3-level IGBT modules available with Infi to be of T-type structure. I find modules comprising of 'two IGBT + diode' combination, which means I will have to use two complementary pairs to form a I-type structure.
Does the whole I-type NPC structure not come as a module? I could not find any, even with other manufacturers. Any thoughts why? Is it with regard to ease of fab/manufacture or economy of the same?

Hi venkat_iisc,
Thank you for your inquiry. I think, since the 3-level I-form IGBT module can be easily realized by two dual-pack module, there is no I-form 3-level IGBT module available in the market. I am not sure if there is any reason regarding ease of fab/manufacture or economy consumption.
Best regards
Luxun
