    Dear Uwe,

for industrial LIN bus please take a look on the Multi-purpose TVS Diode series from Infineon. Most of them withstand at least 20kV as per your requirement.

Please feel free to contact us via your Sales partner or Infineon Support Service to discuss further details.

    Best regards,

If you are looking for any protection circuit then the asymmetric diode will work best for you.
The answer given by the infineon employee is also recommended from my side.
Diodes are always works best for the protection of the circuit.
Also in the case of industries these are required necessary.
