The Microelectronics Students Group from FEUP, in Portugal, came up with a new project.
This time we implemented an infrared data emitter that controls a TV, just like your average remote control. We used an Android smartphone, contacting the XMC4500 through Bluetooth and then a IR emitter to communicate with the TV set. Furthermore, we used DAVE3 to generate the necessary hardware configurations and to write the code. Here's a video of the final result:
