Hello,

It Looks like, DAVE(3.1.10) cannot solve "CCU4Global"-App in "XMC-1100-T038F0064" device ?

(It's the device of the 1100-BootKit)

?

Is that a known bug?

Thanks for help.

Hi
I have created a new project in Dave 3.1.10 and I added pwmsp001 that requires CCU4global and I have no issue with it: solve + code generation are OK.

I have tried also adding CCU4GLOBAL alone but still no issue.

Could you provide more details how to reproduce it ?

Best Regards
Oreste

PS.
I'd like to consider it a DAVE topic. Could you move or create this thread to the Dave Forum.

(How can I move the thread?)

OK, Did the same... only 3 steps...

Create new DAVE CE Project, with MCU "XMC-1100-T038F0064"
Add pwmsp01
SOLVE
-> Error message "Failed to update one or more ressource in the applicatin model, please see the error log for more information"

There is no LOG File!?

It happens the same, if I MIGRATE-Project from another MCU to "XMC-1100-T038F0064" !

This is actually a limitation in Dave. But it is not an issue. Dave doesn't allow to add in a project apps that have not the selected device in the compatibility list.

???

So, why it works in your testcase ?

How can I use CCU4GLOBAL on "XMC-1100-T038F0064" at "BootKit 1100" ?

I have analyzed the logs. The solver module is not reporting any failure so I guess it is problem of corruption of the project or repository folder (where are stored apps and device descriptions). In attachments you can find my project. Could you try it to check that you can solve it ?In case my project is working and any new project that you create have the same problem, could you delete the repository folder contents and re-install apps and device descriptions ?Repository is located usually in c:\\\Infineon.To re-install use help-> install dave apps/example library --> select Dave Apps Library ManagerBest RegardsOreste Bernardi

Could you attach to the forum post your failing project ?
Right-click on project --> Export --> Infineon --> Dave Projects --> Select Archive file (so it is automatically zipped)

Sorry for the late answer but I overlooked your last answer with attachments.

To summarize :
1) You get a solver failure when you add a CCU4Global to a new project using device XMC-1100-T038F0064.
2) Some project created on my PC is working in your PC. --> this should exclude problem with solver process
3) Your project is working on PC of my collegues (2 of them) --> This should exclude corruption of your project.
4) You re-installed completly Dave and all apps --> this should exclude corruption of Dave.

Frankly speaking I am running out of idea. (presently there is not other users reporting the same problem)
What is remaining is PC and operating system ?

So could you provide the PC configuration and OS type and version ?

Hello,

1.-3. are right.
4.:
Till now, I have only delete and reinstall the Apps. NOT Dave itself.

It runs under WIN/ 64Bit.

I think the your hardware is perfect.
We test our Dave on Windows7/64 bit as well.
At this point I can only suggest a full de-installation and re-installation.
1) Uninstall fully Dave
2) Delete Dave folder if the unistaller have not deleted it.
3) Go to Users// and delete Infineon folder.

Re-install from scratch.

Hoping will solve.
