Was wondering what the XMC4500 PWM capability is. I have the Relax Lite Kit which has 4, but I am in need of 8. If not the XMC4500, what MCU does have capability for 8 PWM outputs?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Adam,
One CCU4 have 4 timer slice and each timer slice can generate 1 PWM.
In XMC4500, there are 3 CCU4 (namely CCU40, CCU41 and CCU42) which means you can generates 12 PWM and this is not even using CCU8 yet.

Rou,
Thank you for reply. I neglected to realize I can utilize more than one CCU4 instance.
In working with the Relax kit I noticed there is no breakout for the following PWM capable pins: 3.5, 3.6, 2.2. 2.3, 2.4, 2.5
Is there a XMC4500 board which does?
Thank you.

Nevermind, I jumped off of one of the SD solder pads (pin 3.5).
