In the Reference Manual, the reset value for GLOBRCR register is zero (0x00000000) but by default when XMC1100 ADC is enabled, the GLOBRCR.WFR = 1.
This is because the register GLOBRCR.WFR = 1 is set upon startup by the firmware.
This bit refers to Wait-for-Read Mode and it is enabled by default for XMC1100 device because the ADC in XMC1100 uses the global result register and all channels are assigned to this result register.
Therefore, in order to avoid overwritten results, Wait-for-Read Mode is enabled by default.
