Project: Battery Pack Testing System (900kW)
Output voltage: 1300~1500V
Please recommend suitable IGBT module
I need 2500V IGBT module, current: 300A,400A,600A,1000A. Infineon does not have such products, do you recommend choosing 3300V IGBT module products? Or is a three-level IGBT module suitable for this project?

Hi Walt,
you are right, Infineon does not offer IGBT modules in the voltage class 2500V.
It might be impossible to find devices with such fine denomination of 300 / 400 / 600A and 1000A in this or another voltage class.
If 3300V devices are an option for you - what about using an 3.3kV / 450A XHP(TM) device ?
If a dual switch can be used in your application, this device can support your need for a flexible current rating.
You will find further information on:

Many thanks!
Do you have this specification? FF1800R23IE7.
Can this model be used in my project? Has this model been mass-produced?
