The same project but different output files for Linux and diffrent for Windows

Hello,

I have some problem with Tasking compiler. I compiled the same source files using Tasking compiler for Linux and Tasking compiler for Windows.
As Output files I get two diffrent hex files (for Windows is 1097KB, for Linux is 1083KB). Do you have any idea where is a problem or how to find or what should I start checked first?

Hey master2591,

I can imagine, that some base libraries used by the compiler are slightly different. I guess it is best to contact Tasking or the reseller where you purchased the license directly for differences because Infineon does not develop or sell the compiler

I try contact with Tasking support but in meantime we found diffrents in map file (Left Windows, right Linux):


Maybe someone knows what is cause of this difference?

What compiler version are you using in each operating system? If they're not the same version and patch, this is normal. Also, if the compiler options aren't the same it will similarly show discrepancies.
