Our LITIX boost controllers like TLD5099EP have two options to dim the output current without a microcontroller:
- Analog current adjustment
- Embedded PWM engine
In the system these two options can be used to:
- Adjust the output current as a function of binning resistor
- Thermal foldback (thermal protection)
The two functions are activated by analog voltages at the pins SET and PWMI - e.g. by resistor dividers. Then are no interferences between these two functions.
