When the OUT_SET is used to set the current on a second Basic+ driver, can we apply PWM via the IN_SET pin of the first one? Will the PWM be applied on the second driver as well?

Yes, PWM via IN_SET is possible and will be applied on both drivers. The PWM on IN_SET is mirrored on the OUTSET pin. So, any change on the IN_SET current of the first driver will be mirrored on the second one.
