    BTS50010-1TAE in parallel

    Hi,
    I want to create a DC "switch" for a upcoming RC car product. Can i use 2 BTS50010-1TAE in parallel to increase
    the current?
    Form my 1rst prototype consumes ~20A in normal operation and up to 35A for 1-3 sec.

    Hi,

    Yes, it can be paralleled.
    But the heat dissipation network has to be designed accordingly so that each FET's experience the same amount of thermal stress. If this fails during operation, since it is s PROFET one of the switch might trip and the rest of the FET's might experience high currents which leads to thermal breakdown.
