The output current range of TLE4242G is typ. 98mA ≤ IQ,typ ≤ 453 mA
This can be adjusted with the selection of the shunt resistor RREF in the ground path of the connected LEDs.
RREF is used to sense the LED current.
The regulation loop holds the voltage drop at the shunt resistor on a constant level typ. 177 mV.
The output current IQ may be calculated with the following equation:
IQ = VREF/RREF
RREF is defined within the range 0.39Ω ≤ RREF ≤ 1.8Ω which results in the current range of typ. 98mA ≤ IQ,typ ≤ 453 mA
