Watchdog_1_KIT_TC297_TFT (Restart 2 times only)

I have a questions regarding the watchdog in TC297. I’m trying “Watchdog_1_KIT_TC297_TFT” with configuration below :
1. Watchdog window : 1.3s
2. Wait Time Before Watchdog Feed/Service : 1.4s

I purposely configure to see the behavior of watchdog timer during timeout, I found that there is only 2 times restart event due to watch dog timeout.
Could you advice why it happened only 2 times ? I expect the restart event will repeat forever as the watchdog will never get feed/service.

This behavior is expected and described in the user manual. Please see the UM chapter '7.2.1.10 Reset Triggers' and there 'Prevention of Double SMU Resets' where is described how you can switch off this feature.
