Hi
when I run the flashloader AP201609_XMC4000_Firmware_update_via_SDcard-AN-v01_00-EN example , the FAT boot sector is not found and I get an error.
I get that at first stage before the code tries to read from the SD card.
The SD card is in the slot and it hs the file in it (seen when checked on the PC)
What is the problem that gives such a message? and how can I overcome it?

Hi,
Could you share the screenshot of the exact error and at what stage it pops up? Also could you please confirm whether you have replaced the linker script as suggested in the appnote ?
Best Regards,
Vasanth
