Dear All,
I am wondering the SC data in the IGBT datasheet.
For example, when the SC data is set as 9500A in the datasheet, does it mean when the SC current reaches 9500A, the IGBT will be de-saturated?

Hallo Sand,
the SC value given in the data sheet represents the current value reached under SC1 conditions.
A typical measurement could look like this:
CE voltage (blue)
SC current (red)
gate voltage (green)
4948.attach
As you can see in the measurement above, the CE voltage never reaches a saturated level, the IGBT stays de-saturated.
The specified SC value can be derived from the cross point of the rising and falling current slopes.
