After i installed J-link and Dave 4, when i try to debug i have this problem:

"J-Link GDB Server failed:
Could not connect to target. Please check if target is powered and if ribbon cable is plugged properly.

For more details, see the JLinkGDBServer.exe console."

I'm using a previous version 6.30e, but i had installed a newer version before and i had the same problem.

Hello, I'm currently having the same problem to flash the XMC4700 of a P2Go Radar. I tried to install different versions of JLink and to use the respective "JLinkGDBServerCL.exe" in the debugger but still i get this error:

J-Link GDB Server failed:
Could not connect to target. Please check if target is powered and if ribbon cable is plugged properly.

For more details, see the JLinkGDBServerCL.exe console.

Although the enumeration with the operatiing system has probably taken place, please check as well that your USB-Cable is really a data cable and not a charging cable only..

I found out that the problem was that the device was not properly powered with the 3.3 V DC voltage.
