Hi Infineon Community,
I'm currently using the Position2Go board to measure speed for a project.
For a separate project, can I use the same board to measure Breathing Rate and Heart Rate of humans?
Similar to the video below (2min 40sec onwards):
Is there a user interface available for us to use? Appreciate all your inputs, thank you! 🙂

Hi,
It would be better to use a 60GHz frequency modulated continuous waveform (FMCW) radar for vital sign tracking of human targets in the field of view. Where it would be possible to process the raw data from the sensor to obtain
respiratory/breathing rate and heart rate corresponding to the target.
For more details please refer to: https://www.infineon.com/cms/de/product/sensor/radar-sensors/radar-sensors-for-iot/60ghz-radar/

You can do so, but you have to adjust the FMCW system. It means if you ignore the concept of frames and adjust your chirps to play sequentially (eg. 5ms, 10ms, or even 100ms). After that, you will process the signals and extract the vital sign from their phase. However, P2G is having problems transmitting data to the computer. You must modify the firmware to solve the problem if you want to research this app.
