When one output channel of TLD2331-3EP is not used, you should leave the IN_SETx pin open as well as the corresponding output, OUTx.
If SLS detection is required, it is recommended to use output 2, OUT2, since this is used as reference for the SLS detection threshold (leave one of the remaining outputs open, OUT1 or OUT3).

When one output channel of the TLD2131-3EP or TLD2142-3EP is not used, you should connect to the unused output a diode chain or a Zener. If TLD2131-3EP is required to detect SLS, then use OUT2 and leave OUT1 or OUT3 open.
