Can a half-bridge configuration, such as the following, be an efficient solution for the following requirement?

Requirement:
- Galvanic isolation between input and output
- Input: 12-24V DC
- Output: 5V DC @ 2A

What about SR losses? According to Infineon's chart, below, SR losses would exceed diode losses at our desired output. Is there a way to mitigate that, or an alternate topology?

Hi,

As per the required power specification, a Flyback topology is well preferred. It has less component count compared to half bridge and it is easy to control.

Please find the attached image with different DC-DC topologies,
