Good Evening,
I'm using the Distance2Go Kit from Radar Toolbox, and was looking at the operating modes for the radar in the software folder.
What is the difference between the Doppler and FW file? Also, what is the difference between the Doppler FMCW and normal FMCW file?
I know that FMCW is a variation of CW radar used to attain range measurements.
Thanks.

Hi Monika,
Please find below more details regarding your questions:
1. D2G_FW vs. D2G_Doppler
The Radar_D2G_FW project provides raw Radar ADC data, as an output, based on a configurable modulation Doppler and/or FMCW.
No Algorithm is implemented within this project. This project can be used to develop your own algorithm to process ADC raw data, and extract useful information.
The D2G_Doppler project is based on the D2G_FW, in addition adds implementation of Doppler algorithm to measure velocity and motion of a single moving target (strongest one). All other provided projects are based also on the D2G_FW project.
2. D2G_FMCW vs. D2G_Doppler_FMCW
The Radar_D2G_FMCW project provides implementation of an FMCW algorithm to measure distance of multiple targets (static and moving objects), otherwise the D2G_Doppler_FMCW project provides implementation of a Range Doppler algorithm to measure distance and speed of multiple targets simultaneously (of static and moving objects).
Please refer to the ReadMe.txt file under \Firmware_Software\DAVE project\, for more information about all released DAVE projects.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Montassar.
