Hi guys,

Can I use a 2 level turn on of the RC IGBT at the single ended topology for induction cookers to reduce the first current spike or should a 2 level turn on be avoided because of linear mode?
Thanks in Advance!

Hi Fränce,

we do not recommend you to use the device for a 2 level turn on, because it is operated in linear mode, which is not recommended by us. But I also want to mention, that some customers of us are also doing this 2 level turn on and I have not heard about problems caused by this usage.

BR,
Thomas
