Migrate XMC1404 from 64kB Flash to 128kB

Hi,
is it possible to use a XMC1404Q048X0128 instead of a XMC1404Q048X0064 without migration of the project to the different controller type, just flashing the same hex-file?
I think this should be possible. Some flash is just unused...
Or may there any other problems?

It is ok, as long as you don't check the full chip id in your code
