Hi guys,

there is info given on the overload profile and the overload capability at 175°C. Can you give some more details on how to understand those?

Hi nick,

I think you mean IGBT7.
During the overload conditions it is allowed to reach Tj=175°C with IGBT7.
The overload duration where the chip is above 150°C must be within 20% of the load cycle time.
This also matches with the drive application requirements where high current and temperature appears for a short time.
