Hi Lina,

Yes, this is stored in TC2xx devices in UCB_IFX and in TC3xx devices in the UCB_USER. Both provide a 128bit unique ID for each chip. If only chip type should be identified this can be done using the SCU_CHIPID register.

Hi all,

Regarding the same question, but for the XMC4500 running under DAVE4.
Is there a unique id i can read from some register?

This is not the correct forum for your question...

Anyhow have you reviewed the XMC4500 reference manual section 26.2.2 Initial boot sequence and in particular Figure 26-1 DSRAM1 usage by the SSW where the Unique Chip ID (16 bytes) is written?
