Great work with the EVAL_3K3W_BIDI_PSFB kit!
I would like to test the FSFB topology for a battery charger. This will require Constant current charging. Though, PCMC is explained, it controls the transformer primary current which would not directly limit the output current. Is there a method to include output current control using the XMC m/c?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, the evaluation board, EVAL_3K3W_BIDI_PSFB supports Constant current mode.

Please refer the following application note,

https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-Application%20Note%20EVAL_3K3W_BIDI_PSFB%20AN_1809_PL52_1809_...

The board by default has Constant-Voltage Constant-Power curve programmed. This curve is provided in the App Note as shared above.

CC mode can not be achieved directly using GUI, but the source code have to be modified and implement the charging profile you need.

For modifying the source code, please contact the nearest Infineon FAE.

Regards,

Abhilash P
