Hi,
I get the error:
ERR PREOP INIT_ERR in TwinCAT.
The steps I do are these:
1-I put the new variables in the XMC_ESC.xlsx excel
2-I do the steps of the example in the SSC
3-Copy the ESI file to C: \ TwinCAT \ 3.1 \ Config \ Io \ EtherCAT
4-Rebuild Active Project in DAVE
5-I make the code modifications that it says in the example.
6-I return to Rebuild Active Project in DAVE
7-Download the program at XMC4800
8-I give play.
9-I do the steps in the example those referring to TwinCAT 3.
But the new variables do not appear to me when scanning, the ones of the initial excel by default appear to me and it gives me the ERR PREOP INIT_ERR.
I am surprised that if it works for me in another project that I did previously. Is there any configuration related to this that I could touch that now when creating a new project I do not read the new variables even having the new ESI file?
I have also tried doing:
*TwinCAT -> EtherCAT devices -> Reload Device Descriptions
and it doesn't work for me either.
Thanks for all beforehand.
It would be very helpful if you could solve this for me.

I guess the behavior you see comes from the fact you did not delete the complete FLASH before downloading the new software, so the old (emulated) EEPROM content is still active.
