I want to calculate the heat transfer and no.of Thermal vias for IPT020N10N3. How can i calculate? could anyone can help?

Hi,
The maximum allowable power dissipation that will raise the die temperature to the maximum allowable when the case temperature is held at 25 C is important. It is given by Pd where:
Pd = Tjmax-25/(Rthjc)
Tjmax = Maximum allowable temperature of the p-n junction in the device (normally 150C or 175C)
RthJC= Junction-to-case thermal impedance of the device.
The attached image shows the equivalent circuit that has high effect during switching. With the help of the attached image the heat transfer can be calculated.
