Hi Bernie,
CPU watchdog timers:
Help recover from an accidental malfunction of a CPU core
Provides protection against unintended writes to critical CPU registers
Safety watchdog timer:
Provides an overall system level watchdog, independent of CPU cores
Provides protection against unintended writes to safety critical system registers
Best regards
Mr. AURIX™

Hello,
Similar to the CPU Watchdog example as in https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-AURIX_Watchdog_1-Training-v01_00-EN.pdf?fileId=5546d4626f2295...
Is it possible to provide an example of using the safety watchdog timer? It will be really useful.
Best regards
Padma
