CMSIS packs can also be used in DAVE4, just install the CMSIS-Pack Eclipse Plug-in.

To install eGit procede as follows:
1. In DAVE4, click on Help>Install New Software...
2. Click on Available Software Sites preferences
3. Enable Eclipse Project Updates and click Ok
4. In Work with, enter http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates-4.6.1, click enter and select Git integration for Eclipse
5.Click on Next
6. Continue installation accepting License terms

If you feel adventurous, you can upgrade CDT installed in DAVE4 following the next steps:
1. In DAVE4, click on Help>Install New Software...
2. Click on Available Software Sites preferences
3. Enable Eclipse Project Updates and click Ok
4. In Work with, enter http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/9.2, click enter and select components
5.Click on Next
6. Continue installation accepting License terms

PEmicro released a DAVE4 plugin supporting for PEmicro's Multilink debug probes and Cyclone programmers.
To use PEmicro's debug probes the user can simply install PEmicro's GDB Server Plug-In for ARM devices and then create a launch configuration.
