Hi guys, I would like to know if Infineon has a type of power converter that could convert wall power into high frequency, high power 3 phase AC power to generate a magnetic field in a DIY linear induction motor
Show Lesshi
Vicky.
I've changed it to 60 for the time being according to your hints. But I have a question now, because the 15V in the IPM is converted from 220 to 24V and then to 15V, and the DC310V is converted from 220V AC, so in the IPM, I've separated the 310VDC and the 15V ground of the IPM in the board, does it make sense?
And Hin/Lin is the microcontroller output PWM, this place and 220 to 24V switching power supply common ground or separate in the board to make a ground?
Since the post couldn't be replied to in the last installment, a new thread has been started in the hope that it will be seen.
I look forward to hearing from you.
thanks

Show LessBTT6030-2ERA these two kinds of fault protection: 1. channel open (ON) state, the load is open circuit 2. output out pin short circuit to VBAT Please leave these two kinds of fault protection how to specifically go to do troubleshooting.
In both cases, the current through the high drive chip is very small, maybe slightly larger in case of an open circuit fault (consider that the output has a pull-down resistor, which creates a small current), but is the IS pin feedback current accuracy enough for such small currents to differentiate between the IS pins?

Show LessI am using the EVAL-M1-IM828-A and EVAL-M1-101T to prototype a single shunt brushless DC motor controller. This DC link voltage is 720VDC.
Referring to application note AN2020-14 "Bootstrap circuit design for the CIPOS IPM series", V_BS is recommended to be between 12.5V and 18.5V, and the ripple on V_BS is recommended to be not more than 1.0V peak to peak. Also, the waveform is shown as a characteristic capacitive charging and discharging with a period equal to the motor phase current.
In the attached Image1.png, I used an oscilloscope to monitor the voltage across the bootstrap capacitor (channel 3, blue) and the motor phase current on the same phase (channel 4, red). The bootstrap capacitor voltage ranges from 8V to 19V, and has a 12V peak to peak ripple. Furthermore, the shape of the bootstrap voltage waveform does not match the shape described in the application note. Please advise if these waveforms are expected / acceptable, and how I might modify the bootstrap circuit to achieve a waveform as described in the application note.
For reference, the attached image2.png shows the three bootstrap voltages together with one phase current.
Show LessI'm developing an 800V motor controller using the IM828-XCC IPM. I have observed three different slew rates at the output (U/V/W) of the IPM. The attached image shows the sharp transition (green), slow transition (blue) and piecewise transition (red) that are typical of what we have been observing. The transition type changes, it is not always the same on one phase output. Our input PWM signals have consistently fast transitions. Is there an explanation for this behaviour?
Show LessHello,
The three phase inverter simulation for the CIPOS IPM line is not working again. Ive tried different browsers, networks and computers as well as my phone. Is there a way I can get this working ASAP?
It was working before, i see the landing page at least but it has no simulation tools.
Show LessHello, I can't imagine how the value of output current per leg in parameters calculated, so i need a help for knowing that.
Attached a screenshot from parameter table.
Thanks!

I bought the KIT_6W_18V_P7_950V, but the output 18V does not meet my needs, I want to change the output voltage to 15V, how should I modify the circuit?

Hello expert;
vdd=16V
Itrip pin is null
P=20V (dc bara)
HınA(PIN7=%100 duty cycle
LınA(PIN9)=%50 duty cycle
firstly I will drive Dc motor,after that SRM
I don't obtain HA-LA (output voltage)(phase)
There seems to be very little tension
Is the error caused by the bootstrap diode or is there a switching problem?
I added a diode externally if the one inside does not work
what should I do?
I need the help.
I use a diff probe for measurement.
If you give your e-mail address, I can send you schematic drawings and PWM signals.
Thank you
Best regards...
