Hi guys, I use the new iMOTION solution design, but before I've used the old MCE designer and wizard to program my motors and fans. Recently I want to move to the new application iMOTION. I config the wizard first, build the program, connect and programming my fan. Then I go to dashboard and verify if my parameters are correct. In this moment my problems begin: if I don't increase Vd and Vq the fan never moves, but even the application tell me that this two are variable that are not saved in my wizard, so how can I run my fan without entering the dashboard? Plus, in the old MCE designer when I finish to programming my board and detach my infineon, the board works on it's own. So, what's the metter with the new application? I'm missing something? I have to do something after the programmer?

Show LessI'm using IMI111T IC. I'm trying to connect to Imotion Solution Designer, but it's not connecting.
1. Install as an all user item during the program installation process.
2. Microsoft Visual was already installed, so I moved on.
3. Program writing is successful through the Programmer Tab through the I Motion Link.
4. Restart connecting when you go to the Dashboard -> Failed to connect with the target
I've replaced the IC about 2 times, and I tried with 3 laptops, but the same result came out.
Please advise connect.

I am confused about the field weakening settings for the IMC controller. It seems like there are two different settings affecting the field weakening controller.
1. In Solution designer setting-> motor control configuration>Control Regulators, there exists field weakening current limit as well as modulation threshold at which field weakening should get activated.
2. In motor control configuration>FOC and inverter setting, there is an SVPWM Over modulation enable/disable setting.
How do these two settings work together? In other words, if I disable field weakening in 1 above (by setting current limit to 0%), while disabling over modulation in setting 2, will field weakening controller be activated? If yes, at what modulation will it get activated (linear modulation range is until 86.6% motor voltage)
My observation during testing when I set a field weakening current limit of 10% (I also had SVPWM over modulation disabled) was that when I increased speed of the motor, the 10% limit was not respected. It is very strange that there is no documentation on the field weakening behaviour of the IMC in the reference or the software manual. Hence, I am forced to ask here.
Further question: In 1 above, is the field weakening current limit, the % of Id current allowed during field weakening?

At our company we have a very interesting and complex problem with IMC101 microcontrollers. This controller is integrated in multiple boards that we use for our products and since launch of our products we have received multiple claims from our customers of boards not working.
After investigation we have concluded that in some cases motor parameters had been corrupted and in some cases, scripting was corrupted on the field.
Because we can make the product OK again by just reuploading the motor parameters file in some cases and reuploading just scripting file in other cases. It does not seem to be a safety function problem, while I can connect to the device using iMOTIONconfig.exe to the claimed products with corrupted scripting, just for a second before device fails.
Some information regarding our setup:
- IMC101
- Firmware version 1.3.3
- Safety is enabled
- We use User Mode UART but only to update the speed (no motor parameters are updated)
- Products work fine for a couple of months then we get the claim
I would appreciate any insight into this problem or if anyone else has similar experience es to what could be the problem.

Good morning all,
I got an issue when I try to flash with iMotion Solution designer and IMotion link , two IMC302 on three prototypes, one is working.
- My 5V00 is perfect with decoupling capacitors for each power pins, tested also with a laboratory power supply & iMotion link (3V3 out)
- Tested with strong pull up 3K, added on RX, TX pin
With Salaea analyser I can recordered this :

And now IMotion Solution Designer says : Error while programming.
I would like also some support to programm the IMC302A with Segger trough SWD, I can connect, I can erase the uC, but what is the way to program the output files : IMC302A-F048_A_V5.02.00.ldf & out.ldf ?, the segger tools whant to have a .bin or a .hex file.
It is a very important project for me and my compagny, could you give me more information what could arrive ?

kindly clarify my doubt in imc101t-t038.
i) if voltage in the ntc pin below the over temperature threshold voltage level, then over temperature fault will be set. After the fault the temperature is reduced and voltage in the ntc is rise above the threshold level ,then the over temperature fault will be automatically cleared or not ?
Show LessHello everyone, i have a question, i used iMOTION™ Software Tools MCEDesigner and it generate a file that uploaded to the MCU. The question, is this file only configuration file uplodaed to the MCU to successfully run the program or it is a fully SW program hex code.
And if the answer is the first imagination, i need to take a look on software code it self where can i find it.
