Hello,
we are trying to extend the example code https://www.infineon.com/dgdlc/en?dcId=8a8181663431cb50013431cb500b0000&downloadTitle=mcd_demo_basic_120412.zip&download=L2RnZGwvbWNkX2RlbW9fYmFzaWNfMTIwNDEyLnppcD9maWxlSWQ9ZGIzYTMwNDMxZWQxZDdiMjAxMWY0NjlhYzQwZTU2YWY= to work with a locked device. We tried different ways to supply the device key but no way worked. Is there a example code that sets the device_key and unlocks a device or any documentation on how to do that?
Show LessThanks for anyone who access my problem. How can Mulitcore access same variable in the same time When using Tricore TC389 with Hightec IDE?
I had put memset() in core0,core1,core2,core3's while(1), to set an large array to diffrent content. There is nothing error or unexcept happen. I just can see the var jump between different number, Dose infineon did some basework in tricore? Is this a safety way to access variables in multicore ?
Do you have any manual to explane this questions? Please give me a demo that show how to access variables in multicore in safety way.
Show LessHello Team,
I walk through the TC375XX tricore infineon Micro safety manual, I see lot of internal and external software and hardware safety mechanisms.
My understanding is that the Internal and external safety mechanisms would be implemented and prevented against the safety Goal. I would like to know what the MCU safety Goal are or is there any Assumptions of use case considered? please clarify.

hi
could anyone tell me if the LMU data will be reset after Mcu was reset by TC35584?
or which memory area can keep unchanged after reset by 35584 apart from the NVM(DF and HSM ...) ?

hi,Experts
I accidentally clicked “Solved” on the previous post,There is still this issue,Please help!
When I was debugging the two channel ASCLIN serial ports, I found that sometimes (with a high probability) when 275 ASCLIN receives data, the data length and received data may be messy, as shown in the following figure。
My software's purpose is to receive 8 bytes, then check the correctness of the data, and then return some data。
ASC_INIT ,the initialization function is shown in the following figure。
On the hardware side, I measured the waveforms when receiving correctly and when receiving incorrectly, and compared them to see that the waveforms are the same。May I ask where the problem is with the software?
best wishes
Show LessHello, I would like to know what are TSN standards does the Aurix TC399 microcontroller supports?
Hello,
I am currently trying to use the ASCLIN module as UART in the KIT_A2G_TC399_5V_TRB development kit, but having problems with TX. The examples I have found always use interrupts, which I do not want to use. I want to transmit data via polling instead.
I was able to receive data, but not sending anything. I have monitored the TX pin with an oscilloscope, and it remains always in VDD level.
Currently, I am using the following steps to initialize the ASCLIN module and to send data:
Initialization steps:
1) Reset EndInit
2) Enable the module via CLC.DISR
3) Set EndInit
4) Disable the clock via CSR.CLKSEL
5) Set INIT Mode in FRAMECON.MODE
6) Flush TXFIFO via TXFIFOCON.FLUSH
7) Set TXFIFOCON.INW=1 and TXFIFOCON.ENO=1
8 ) Flush RXFIFO via RXFIFOCON.FLUSH
9) Set RXFIFOCON.INW=1 and RXFIFOCON.ENO=1
10) Configure BITCON, DATCON, BRG and FRAMECON with desired baudrate and data bits parameters
11) Set ASC Mode in FRAMECON.MODE
12) Disable all flags in FLAGSENABLE
13) Clear all flags in FLAGSCLEAR
14) Configure the pins (Rx as input, Tx as output - pushpull and function 2)
Send data steps:
1) Wait for TXFIFOCON.FILL = 0
2) Copy data to send via TXDATA = data
Is there anything else needed to enable TX?
Thank you in advance,
Alisson Furlani
Show LessHello.
I'm using Tricore TC37x and TC36x.
From what I understand, Tricore suspends its watchdog timer when OCDS debugger is attatched.
What I'm curious about is, does the Tricore MCU only recognize at certain timings that it has an OCDS attached?
What I observed was that while developing with a debugger connected, I put the debugger in the "Nodebug" state, performed a Power-on-reset, and attached the debugger.
At this time, the watchdog timer (TIM of SCU_WDTCPU0SR) continued to move without stopping.
If I reset the target using the debugger while maintaining the debugger connection, the watchdog timer stops again and remains suspended.
Does the watchdog timer stop only if a debugger is connected at the timing when the Tricore MCU starts?
Thank you in advance.
Show LessHI, we are working on a project where it requires to use the hypervisor on TC387 board, over that multiple vms(suggest an os iam thinking to install andriod) needs to be install. is this possible to run infotainment related applications on TC387 or TC397 hardware kindly check and let me know.
I have a doubt other than RTOS can we install QNX on TC387 or TC397 board.
